* Revision or new Braille training materials.
* Communication and early feedback.
Speakers:
Jesper Bentil Holten, Anne Sofie Jensen, Jesper Kryer, John Heilbrunn Dorte Larsen?
About30 – 40 minutes.
Lessons learned: Methodology and practical use of Pre-school Braille. Dorte ret endelig til og tilpas ud fra dit tidligere oplæg?
Further, we would like to share whatever knowledge we have in regards to a discussionchairedby the Sweedish about the use of 8-dot Braille.
For next year’s theme it could be the use of Braille in STEM subjects in Elementary school through tertiary education.

Dear Hjalti Hynninenn and all.
I hope you have all had a pleasant summer break?
Before booking flights and accommodation I just want to be certain about the dates. Is the plan still that the Nordic Braille meeting will take place from 25th October (When do we start?) program ending on the 26th of October at what time? How long is the airport from the Venue?
When do you need submissions for the agenda to be handed in?

Dear colleges
Thank you for your responses. Based on the answers we are moving forward to plan the Nordic meeting to take place 25th-26th of October.
We are looking forward to hosting those that wish to attend in person in Reykjavik, but as discussed in Oslo last year it will also be possible to take part in the meeting remotely.
Sweden has suggested a few topics for the meeting, and we would welcome you all to participate to shape the program. Also feel free to take the lead on presentation of particular subjects if you wish.
Subject ideas so far:
- Creation of enhanced eight dot braille system
- Braille and mathematics: development and plans.
- Haptic tablet development: EU project ABILITY
- Updating braille tablets on digital platforms. Exchange best practices.
We will be sending more practical information later, but here are a few key details. Do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Venue for the meeting is Hamrahlíð 17, 105 Reykjavík.
Nearby hotels include:
• Reykjavík Natura
