Excuse me for a very late response to the invitation.

The Swedish Braille Authority (Punktskriftsnämnden) would prefer October 5–6.

We believe that three members will be able to attend in person – and giving presentations at the meeting. We will of course encourage digital presence by other members.

We have an idea about subjects too (approximate description here):

Creation of enhanced eight dot braille systems
Braille and mathematics: development and plans
Haptic tablet development: EU project ABILITY

Thank you for the invitation to the Nordic meeting!

We prefer the date 28^th-29^th of September. But all the other dates are possible for us, also.

We have had a new committee in Finland since January. We are seven members in the Committee now. I suppose we have to discuss further if we all are able to participate the Nordic meeting. Maybe some members would like to participate online, if possible. But if it is ok, we let you know later (as soon as possible) how many of us are going to participate.

Dear Nordic colleges.

The Icelandic and Finnish braille committees have been in contact and reached a consensus about hosting responsibilities for the Nordic meetings in 2023 and 2024.

The Nordic meeting 2023 will take place in Reykjavík and hosted by the Icelandic Institution of the Blind, which the braille committee belongs to.

Before proceeding further with planning the event we would like to ask for your opinion on possible dates for the Nordic meeting. We suggest the following three options:

28^th-29^th of September

5^th-6^th of October

25^th-26^th of October

The last suggestion would place the meeting on Wednesday to Thursday as we would then organise it parallel to Positive Looking Conf-Shop, a combination of a conference and workshop about the Positive Looking Visual Skills Programme. It is a joint endeavour between Iceland, UK and the US. Here is a link for those that might be interested; Iceland 2023 Positive Looking International Conf-Shop

We would kindly ask you to give us an answer on which dates you might prefer no later than 21^st of April.
