Vi har tagit fram några förslag till innehåll på det nordiska mötet. Så här ser våra tankar ut just nu (se lista nedan). Vi undrar:

We have put together a few suggestions for the content of the Nordic meeting. Here’s what we’re currently thinking (see list below). We would like to know:
- Are there any additional suggestions? Please email me personally by September 17 (preferably not the entire mailing list).
- Which parts would you be interested in taking responsibility for or helping to organize?

- Layout i punktskrift: workshop.
- Tryckt punktskrift utförd enligt layoutgruppens rekommendationer (både tättryck och glestryck) testas och diskuteras, även jämförelser med svartskrift.
- Tid: 1–1 ½ timme.
- Material kan innehålla t.ex. punktlistor, rubriker, titelsida, ca 10–15 sidor.
- Övriga länders deltagare uppmanas att ta med eget material.
- Om hur matematik lärs ut till punktskriftsanvändare: workshop med matematik-kunniga om olika metoder som används.
- Flerradiga punktskriftsskärmar: visning och prova på.
- Lärprogram i punktskrift (som Punktraketen från SPSM): möjlighet till att pröva på (show and tell).
- Taktila representationer av grafiskt material: visa och testa material i plantryck.
- Ny svensk åttapunktsskrift: möjlighet till att pröva på (show and tell).
Workshops and other content
- Braille Layout: Workshop
- Printed braille produced according to the Swedish layout group's recommendations (both normal and double line spacing) will be tested and discussed, including comparisons with print.
- Duration: 1–1.5 hours.
- Materials may include: bullet lists, headings, title page, approximately 10–15 pages.
- Participants from other countries are encouraged to bring their own materials.
- Teaching Mathematics to Braille Users:
- Workshop with mathematics experts on various teaching methods used.
- Multi-line Braille Displays:
- Demonstration and hands-on testing.
- Braille Learning Software (e.g. Punktraketen by SPSM):
- Opportunity to try out (show and tell).
- Tactile Representations of Graphic Material:
- Demonstration and testing of embossed materials.
- New Swedish Eight-dot Braille:
- Opportunity to try out (show and tell).

Dear all!
We are hereby inviting you to this year’s Annual Nordic Braille Authorities Meeting.
Dates: December 4–5, 2025.
Start: Thursday 4/12 at 10.00.
End: Friday 5/12 at 13.00.
Site: Malmö (city central)
Note that online participation will be possible only for the very beginning of the meeting. We will then discuss and possibly decide on forms for future meetings, and similar questions.
The rest of the meeting will be filled with suitable content for this onsite meeting:
- Workshops and seminars
- Show and tell-sessions (products, software, games etc. with individual hands on possibilities)
Please all, do propose content for the meeting and what you can contribute with. We will after summer take your ideas and merge them with our ideas, and come back with a programme.

I still need feedback for some of our delegation members. However, most seems to be ok with the proposed days. However, I and one of my colleagues will have to leave at lunch time on the Friday.
Also, I assume we will just take the Train from Copenhagen early Thursday morning, and thus only need one hotel night in Malmø. Is the venue actually in Malmø central or do we need to look for accommodation farther afield.

Punktskriftsnämnden, The Swedish Braille Authority, is inviting to a physical meeting in Malmö – with possibility for online participation. We are happy to arrange the meeting during this year of celebration.
Proposed time for the meeting: late October or November. Two days as previous meetings, preferably Thursday to Friday, e.g.:

- November 27–28
We know that we should avoid the dates November 10–14, due to a Norwegian conference. Do let us know if any of the dates above are unsuitable for the meeting.

I hope you are all well. At our last national Braill committee meeting we evaluated but also discussed our next meeting. During the discussion we found out that there was some confusion as to how and when the next Nordic meeting is taking place?
Is it in Sweeden in a physical form, or is it fully Virtual?
When are the conference supposed to take place? And if virtual how do we ensure propper planning?
