Dear Nordic colleges.
The Icelandic and Finnish braille committees have been in contact and
reached a consensus about hosting responsibilities for the Nordic meetings
in 2023 and 2024.
The Nordic meeting 2023 will take place in Reykjavík and hosted by the
Icelandic Institution of the Blind, which the braille committee belongs to.
Before proceeding further with planning the event we would like to ask for
your opinion on possible dates for the Nordic meeting. We suggest the
following three options:
28th-29th of September
5th-6th of October
25th-26th of October
The last suggestion would place the meeting on Wednesday to Thursday as we
would then organise it parallel to Positive Looking Conf-Shop, a
combination of a conference and workshop about the Positive Looking Visual
Skills Programme. It is a joint endeavour between Iceland, UK and the US.
